Dr. Monica Jones
Hello! I’m Dr. Monica Jones and I joined the team at Best Friends Veterinary Hospital in July of 2022.
I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana where I gained a passion for raising and caring for dogs, cattle, goats and horses. I received my B.S. in Biology, A.S. in Chemistry, and a minor in Business Management from Purdue University - Fort Wayne in 2018. I went on to earn my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN where I graduated in May of 2022.
I have a passion for all animals, small and large, and am blessed to work in a career where I have the opportunity to work with them every day. My special interests include soft tissue surgery, preventive care and alternative medicine.
My significant other and I currently reside in Cookeville, TN with our two dogs, Nora and Chloe. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, attending concerts, hiking, kayaking, traveling and spending quality time with my friends, family and pets.
I am humbled and honored to be a veterinarian and provide quality, compassionate care to your pets. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members.
